What file types can I import for seating charts?
CSV, XLSX, XLS, XLSM, ODS, PDF, PNG, JPG, and JPEG. Spreadsheets are processed instantly. PDFs and photos are analysed by AI in about 30–60 seconds.
Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Import your guest list from any CSV or Excel file. Brunchie auto-detects columns for name, email, table assignment, and more — no manual mapping needed.
Can I use Brunchie for corporate events or non-wedding events?
Absolutely. Brunchie works for any group event — trips, brunches, dinners, corporate gatherings, parties, game nights, and more. It is not limited to weddings.
Can I limit how many people can attend my hangout?
Yes. Toggle on "Attendee Limit" in the RSVP section when creating or editing a hangout, then enter your max headcount. Once the limit is reached, new people can't RSVP as attending until someone drops out. First come first served.
Can I add guests without an email address?
Yes. Use the "Add by name" tab in the invite modal. Type first and last names one per line — no email needed. They show on your guest list and can be seated on seating charts.
What can name-only guests do compared to email-invited guests?
Name-only guests appear in your People list with a person icon. They count towards headcount, can be placed on seating charts, and can be removed anytime. They won't receive notifications since there's no email on file.
How do I split costs fairly without the awkward money talk?
Dreading the "who owes what" conversation? Add a total, pick who paid—Brunchie does the maths. Track balances and settle up without awkward reminders.
Can I attach receipts to expenses?

Per the Free forever page, Brunchie may introduce fees in the future for specific feature areas — hangouts with very large guest counts, seat and table management at scale, or photo and video sharing. Core features will remain free. That page is the canonical source for any future pricing announcements.
Where do I see the canonical pricing?
Always at /free-forever/. Marketing pages defer to that page; if you ever see a contradiction, /free-forever is right.
Can wedding planners share Brunchie with their couple clients?
Yes. Planners share one Brunchie hangout with the couple, add the couple as cohosts, and invite vendors at one of two view-only tiers. See wedding coordination software for planners.
What can vendors see when added as external guests?
External guests see the public itinerary and any guest-visible docs the host has shared. They cannot see the budget, the full guest list, host-only docs, or the host-only runbook. External cohosts are a higher trust tier that additionally see host-only docs and the host-only runbook.
How does Brunchie handle privacy on the wedding budget?
Wedding budgets default to host-private — only hosts and cohosts see the spend. For weddings above 30 attendees, host-private mode is locked on automatically; peer settlement at wedding scale doesn't work, the maths is for the host team.
Should the hen do live in the wedding hangout?
No — make a separate Brunchie hangout for the hen do. The wedding hangout is for venue and vendor money (host-private). The hen do is a small group of friends actually splitting costs with each other, which is what Brunchie's expense splitter is built for.
How does Brunchie compare to other wedding tools?
